This was the first one, that came to my mind:

I didn't know that was a cover, who did the original?
Dalbello, from 1984:

W.A.S.P.'s "I Don't Need No Doctor" and "The Real Me".
MY FAVORITE ROCKY MOUNTAIN WAY---TRIUMPH
Okay, I'm gonna push this band some more:

These are obvious:

Just a couple that come to mind which I always thought were done with respect.

Iced Earth - Dead Babies (Cooper)
Zodiac Mindwarp - Cold Ethyl (Cooper)
Pantera - Whiplash (Tallica) + Cold Gin (Kiss)
Motorhead - Catch Scratch Fever (Nugent)
Godsmack - Sweetleaf (Sabbath)

and I just bought a CD that had a cover of Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers.....but I can't remember who the hell it was now.
Vince Neil?
ah yes, that was it. Not a bad little album I thought Jon. and I guess I didn't actually buy that one....but somehow "found" it.
I will ask no probing questions on that one..
Faith No More's version of "War Pigs" is cool
