Classic Rock Bottom

Almost 25 years since his last hit worth mentioning, Billy Idol is back...with a killer album!  An album with more hooks than a dang Bass Pro Shop.  It's somewhat nostalgic, but never to an irritating extent.  It's also modern, but never to an irritating extent.  And if you've forgotten, there is just enough of Steve Stevens to remind you of what a cool guitar player he is.  There are at least five songs on this album that would have received major radio airplay back in the mid to late eighties.  Unfortunately, they won't now, but you can still enjoy them by grabbing this one up.  It's well worth it.

Yeah, well, not bad at all, and Idol is almost sounding as good as in the 80's or start 90's. If I ever was a fan, though, it was a few months in '86 or something like that. After listening to this one 1 and a half times, I didn't needed listening anymore.

I was never a huge fan of Billy Idol during the MTV era, but I do like this new album....a LOT. It sounds like New Wave to me, but it's definitely contemporary as well.

I'm still lovin' it.
