Classic Rock Bottom

As 2014 comes to a close, your last L/F album of the year is not "Lost" or "Forgotten", but it is my pick for the best album of the year. Always save the best for last, that's what I say. Plus, I think I've posted more than enough albums this year, so a week off is well deserved.

Someone on this site has claimed it was their idea to post their favorite album of the year as their last post as well. It's just a little white lie, something I'll let slide since it is the holiday season. To that certain person, rest assured that once the holiday season is over, I will find you. I realize that you really don't care, but I'm giving you the opportunity to get your apology ready.

Well, then. Time to move on.

Wait......

I'm thinking that we can fly to a neutral spot (Vegas sounds good) on any ordinary day and have ourselves a good old-fashioned duel. The loser and their entourage will then need to hand deliver letters to the winner and their entourage stating "We are the losers" in an old-timey English font. All will be forgiven once the loser buys the winner many beers and then they can discuss topics such as the politics of dancing, what a Rocky Mountain high REALLY is, the loneliness of love and the latest traffic reports.

Crap.

I almost forgot this is supposed to be about my pick for album of the year, and why.

The reason this is my favorite album of the year is that it's the perfect album to listen to at home, in the car, while cutting the grass, in a bath filled with oils and bubbles with your favorite ducky, in an elevator filed with sadistic circus clowns and while you're trying to write something that hopefully makes a little bit of sense.

Basically, it's the one album this year that made me giddy the first time I heard it and still makes me giddy. It's giddy goodness.

Plus there's the added awesomeness of the catsuit.

You know, this ones pretty bad too...

This one has the potential to be theeeeee worst! Especially if the next rest area is over 50 miles away!
