I was never as fond of this album as the ones listed before, but they did put on quite a show here as well. I think there is a bit less melody (to my regret) on DD and more straight forward R'N'R attempt in comparison to their first two albums, which changed the sound a bit.
I'm glad you put this one up, so the one who heard a drastic change in Loverboys music and the first two Streetheart's album can now actually look like he was onto something.
Right off the bat, the backing vocals in the chorus sound a bit like Def Leppard. And that lead track is pretty rockin'. The next song sounds like a totally different band. Hmmm...
This is really kind of hit and miss, mostly miss for me. A song like Go To Hell, excellent musically, but the vocal screaming is really annoying. I do like Sold Out near the end, maybe because it's near the end.
It's certainly rock, but the keyboards give it some new wave feel. Can't say it does much for me, I definitely prefer your post from last week over this one. At least I can say I've heard the band.
