This is much better than the previous posts, much-much better!  Love the geetar work the most.  Not sure about the production of the drums - sounds a lot "St. Anger-ish".  These songs would have better with a stronger and more solid drum sound.

Still not purchase material for me though.

Jon, it's a-ok if other people don't appreciate King's X...or their side projects. But, for you and me, this stuff is very good! I've added this to my list of "wanna get, if I can find it".

On this release, after two listens, I really dig the tracks "Take Me Away", "Shinin' On", "Kingdom Come", "Automatic", "Candy Andy Jane", and "Going Down". Listening again for a 3rd time now, and business is slow today, so I can crank it up and really truly hear it better. Some really good lead guitar on this disc!

The Poundhead is really good as well. The Jughead was decent...a very enjoyable listen. The Jerry Gaskill was the only one I have no interest in owning.

I'm curious...which track on this is the old Grand Funk tune? Is it "Shinin' On" ?

You got it..Shinin' On be it!

Do you have anything from Trouble? You might want to check them out...

Just ordered this through Amazon, along with the Poundhound from last week, and the new Electric Boys. And just because I wanted it, ordered Nazareth's "Expect No Mercy"....had that on 8 track many years ago!

Good stuff Jon! Now if I just had enough money to eat later this week...

I'll send ya a care package!

I wouldn't mind getting the Electric Boys cd, maybe when the price drops some more.  Don't wanna spend 17 bucks right now.

This was definitely the best of the lot.  I'm buying it.  Amazon Marketplace has it for 4.43 used, so that's mine.  Love the guitars on this one.  Supersweet.  Pinnick's vocals were much better for me than that other one you posted with the super long title.

I still like the first one also.

1. Supershine

2. Jughead

3. Platypus

4. Gaskill

5. Poundhound
