Sure, it's from my softer side, but good music is good music and, hey, this actually rocks a bit (yep, there's geetar solos!).

I can bore you with the history or Sarah Brightman, but what's the point? She has an incredible voice and that should be good enough. Besides, this internet thing probably has a bunch of history regarding Ms. Brightman, so search away!

"Dive" was released in 1993 and is loosely based on all things to do with water, which includes a song originally done by Procol Harum. As an extra, extra bonus, there's no duets with anyone from Kiss!

So it's not hard rock. More along the lines of power ballads but, if they're done right, power ballads can be a good thing.

Put away the PBR, grab a glass of wine (not the boxed stuff), turn off the lights and take a listen to "Dive".

Oh, I had'nt noticed, that MSoTW was back. Is it Sarah Brightman's sister? Or Shakespeare's??

Hey, everybody loves a ballad, right? I know I love a good one. But this is an album full of ballads. Probably a little much for me. It's not bad, but I can't really say I like it. I did like the song "When It Rains In America". Also, "The Second Element" and part 2 of the same song weren't bad. Just too much slowness for me. But nice change-up. I've always wanted to hear some of her music to see what it was about. That is now off the bucket list, thanks to Jon.

And no idea do I have on the mystery tune.

I'm trying, really I am... but this is so ... so... sooooo much like Yanni and John Tesh. Besides this New Age thing Im hearing, I also hear a little Blackmores Night with the chicks from ABBA singing harmony...

On another note Im trying figure out where I would play something like this? Wait, maybe um ... nope I got nothing!

On yet another note, I'm really struggling to picture Jon enjoying this, maybe at lunch on the Riverwalk this could be blasting as you pass by Cobo hall. Nah, never mind... too blasphemous...

Did I forget to say I dont like this?
