Especially the three on the top row.
I picked up the new Helix album Old School and a used copy of the Blind Guardian album Battalions of Fear.
I picked up these used today:
The Police - Regatta de Blanc
The Police - Ghost In The Machine
Kiss - Lick It Up (on cassette)
Damn Yankees - Damn Yankees
.38 Special - Tour De Force
Kiss - Hotter Than Hell
Kiss - Sonic Boom
Armored Saint - Delirious Nomad
White Lion - Fight To Survive
The Scorpions - Animal Magnetism
The Scorpions - Crazy World
I picked up 2 used CDs today:
Scorpions - Face The Heat
Disturbed - Evolution
My recent buys (and gifts received):
U.D.O. - Timebomb (Anniversary Edition)
Steve Grimmett's Grim Reaper - At The Gates
Extreme - Extreme (Signed by bassist Pat Badger)
Scorpions - Pure Instinct
Gillan - Mr. Universe (Remastered)
The first two are brand new, the other 3 are used editions.
Tesla - Shock
I picked up a few CDs yesterday. I got the new Mike Tramp album Second Time Around in the mail.
And I picked up some used CDs (in pretty damn good condition) as well.
Two of them will be going to other people: Geddy Lee's My Favorite Headache and Zebra's Zebra The Best Of In Black and White.
The other albums I got were:
Helloween - I Want Out Live
U.D.O. - Faceless World
The Scorpions - Taken By Force
The Scorpions - Eye II Eye
Impellitteri - Stand In Line (Japanese version)
Armored Saint - Revelation
Bruce Dickinson - Scream For Me Brazil
I also got a promotional copy of the Dio album Magica that came with the signatures of all four members of the lineup that recorded the album: Ronnie James Dio, Jimmy Bain, Craig Goldy and Simon Wright.
Oh, and I got the Tora Tora album Wild America on cassette.
I'm assuming those are real DIO autographs and not just replicas?
Ronnie and Bain are not even among the living anymore. What parts of your body had to sell for it? Hopefully, something you don't have a use for, like ten years' worth of toenail clippings, or a precious baby teeth. :-)
As far as I can tell, those are genuine autographs. The fact that the Jimmy Bain signature is a little smudged would seem to give credence to them being real.
How much? I got it for NOTHING. It's a promo disc so it was just in a cardboard sleeve. And the sleeve was actually empty when I pulled it out of one of the boxes. As we worked down through the box, we found the disc itself that had fallen out of the sleeve.
The only thing my friend said was that he wants to see me frame it and take a photo of it hanging on my wall. He knows that I'm a huge fan of Dio so that and the fact that I was helping go through all these CDs makes me consider it payment for the help.
