I couldn't get into this album.
Bought it back home on the vinyl when it came out, after two stellar releases (Cornerstone, Paradise Theater) expecting much the same, however, the sentiment wasn't there. Time was not kind to it, either.

Left the original LP back home and bought it again at a Garage Sale here, hoping for a different result but,  ended up selling it on my own Garage Sale, without remorse. The only two tracks I still remember are Mr. Roboto and Heavy Metal Poisoning.

For me, it's their lowest point.

I did mention those two tracks in my article but I would add in "Don't Let It End" as the three best tracks on the album if forced to just pick 3 to represent the album.

Agree with your overall assessment.  Don’t Let It End is a terrific song, one of my favorites.  And Roboto was huge and still is a cool song.
