I was never really a fan and I was going type something pithy about the song Gloria, and then I read she passed in 2004... So I'm apologizing for my pithiness.  Never realized how many hits she actually had and I remember a few of those songs still...

nice read, even if it has a sad ending.

Something I else I learned after I wrote the piece was that she was on an episode of the TV show "CHiPs". I grew up watching that show but for the life of me can't recall the episode.
