Thanks Scott, I agree with you about the Archies. While they were not on my list, "Sugar Sugar" is easily the most popular & sucessful cartoon theme song. I would have thought, they would have faired much better than 6th. Maybe, I should have made the catagory Top 5 cartoon bands? Nevertheless, I enjoyed seeing all the nominees & posting the videos.
No arguments from me, but I am somewhat surprised that The Archies didn't make the list at all... After all they were one of 4 cartoons mentioned here that were an actual cartoon band (Banana Splits, Fat Albert and Josey and the Pussycats being the others) so logic says they should be at least #4...

But what do I know, I'll just go back and stare at my Betty and Veronica poster...

Nice job Mike!!

5. Johnny Quest 20 1 21 2

4. Fat Albert 23 2 24 0

3. Josie & The Pussycats (Tie) 22 3 25 0

3. Roadrunner (Tie) 22 3 25 0

2. Bannana Splits 22 3 25 1

1. Scooby Doo 34 4 38 1

"Scooby Doo" was the decisive number one! Then, there was a three way tie for 2nd. I gave the Bannana Splits received the number 2 spot, because of their first place vote, but "Roadrunner" & "Josie & The Pussycats" were at a dead heat, with the exact same scores. So, they will share the 3rd spot. Fat Albert, was one point back in the 4th spot, while Johnny Quest rounded out the Top 5, with 2 first place votes. Others receiving first place votes were the "Archies", "Pink Panther" & "Hong Kong Phooey".

I just tabulated up the results here & it appears there's a three way tie for the 2nd spot. Could I lobby for some more votes, before I have to resort to the complex tie breaker scenarios?
