CHEAP TRICK - THE DOCTOR (1986)

I don't think the new Cheap Trick record is perfect, but it's pretty dang good.  The three songs that didn't quite appeal to me at first (Blood Red Lips, Roll Me and The In Crowd) are growing on me like crazy.  But we're here to talk about The Doctor.  Cheap Trick's ninth studio album arrived on shelves in 1986.  It didn't chart inside the Top 100 and it has never received a certification.  One single was released, It's Only Love, and it failed to chart as well.  Let's cut to the chase on this one.  I don't care for it.  It's covered in 80's styled keyboards and at times I can't even tell the band has a guitar player.  I think the song writing is poor and the songs just aren't catchy.  The only song with any potential to me is the closer and lone single It's Only Love.  But I can't even bring myself to include it on my UCT Playlist.   I'm sure there are die hard fans that love the album, but it doesn't work on any level for me.  This is the part where I ask for your opinion on the album...
