CHEAP TRICK - THE LATEST (2009)

The Latest, from 2009, is no longer the band's latest album.  It continued the trend of poor chart performance (if you've been following this or know me at all, you probably already know my feelings on that subject).  Only one single was released (Sick Man Of Europe).  And again, the album has never received a certification.  But I do think it's a pretty good album.  Maybe not up to par with the previous three releases, but good none the less.  Alive has a very serious Dream Police feel, and Times Of Our Lives was very close to being included on my ultimate playlist.  I will say that I like The Latest better than the majority of the 80's stuff, with a couple of exceptions of course.  We're gettin' pretty close to the end of the catalog for now.  I've got two more posts for you, then we are finished.
