Classic Rock Bottom

Generations is Journey's second album to feature Steve Augeri and Deen Castronovo.  It has the distinction of being Journey's only album to feature lead vocals from all members.  One of Jonathan Cain's lead vocals is Every Generation, and that is a fantastic song.  Out Of Harms Way is quite a heavy song for Journey.  So is In Self-Defense, sang by Neal Schon.  As a matter of fact, the four song run from Out Of Harms Way to Gone Crazy is some of if not the heaviest work Journey has ever done.  The two songs (A Better Life and Never Too Late) are pretty good to.  Personally, I think this is a really good album.  Much better and the songs are much more interesting than on any other non-Steve Perry album.  Do you have Generations?  What do you think of it?
