Good group Niels. Sometimes he catches flack for being overrated, but he is classic and has some great tunes.

Not the biggest Springsteen-fan around, but I do like (the album) "Born to Run", and especially "Thunder road"

Thunder Road is a wonderful song. Back when I was at UGA, we would go listen to this local band. The guitar player was a local high school teacher and the band was quite good. Mostly covers, but some originals. Anyway, they did monster versions of Bad Love by Eric Clapton (the high school teacher played that solo perfectly) and the Springsteen song Thunder Road. At that time, I didn't know it was a Springsteen song, but I always thought to myself, "that sounds like it would be a great Springsteen song". Well, needless to say, years later, I found out it was Springsteen.

Anyway, to make a long story even longer, this band (actually the band vocalist and leader), finally broke into the somewhat big time in Country music. His name is John Berry. I haven't heard anything from him in a while, but he did have a couple of decent CD's. His first CD I had and lost, but have re-aquired it. It has the cover version of Thunder Road. I may just bust it out and post it.

Okay, here it is. I went ahead and posted the entire album, but as you can see, Thunder Road is the 4th track. It's a country album, but has a pretty good cover of When A Man Loves A Woman. John has a good voice and really holds a note at the end of the song. Also, The Graduation song was always one of my favorite originals that he did, as it hit that soft spot in my heart about the time I was graduating from UGA and leaving all of my friends behind.

Sorry, Thunder Road is the 5th track...
