Classic Rock Bottom

More New York City Songs, most years a tradition in Honor Of 9/11.
No forgetting and no forgiving!
My memory is that for months after, when I would pass the remains of the World Trade Center, it was still burning in certain areas.
Now there is that new Freedom Tower.
This time a Musical visit to a section of the city- heading way uptown this year- and taking a famous train on the subway to get us there.
We will conclude with a celebration of our Branches Of The Military from a Marine Corps base in Iraq by a legendary Hard Rock band, consistently voted among the Best Ever, that was ironically formed here in New York City.
Listen to their performance on a USO tour- and their rousing renditions of some very familiar songs that would hardly be called Rock & Roll, but in their hands...!
That's it- the Music of my Unconquerable City.
Terrorists take heed!

Jon,
I got that from RJ, LOL!
Yes, the Stones & U2.
Even a foreigner like you is invited to come or sing about New York City!
What solar flares...are you alright, lol?
I could have played many songs, but do you mean about Harlem?
I thought 5 was enough.
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

"consistently voted among the best ever"......by whom? The band themselves? The record company?

Ya know that you had a band from Britain and a band from Ireland there? Did you? Huh? DID YOU????????

Those solar flares are making me froggy.

Do you know what song you could have played? Do you? DO YOU?????
