Dark Side does work well with Wizard...I've done it a couple times. It's kind of weird, but there's probably another album out there that matches up as well. Maybe something by Justin Beeber.
I wouldnt say big on soundtracks, but they were defintely part of my musical lexicon growing up. The first one I remember really getting into was Live and Let Die from the movie of the same title. (I didnt like the GnR remake thought it wasnt near as good!) and then all those 80's movies, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Footloose, Fast TImes, Heavy Metal, and St Elmos Fire... speaking of which, I walked into Sam Ash this past weekend and John Parr was playing a set there, I recognized him but couldnt quite remember his name until he started singing that St ELmos Fire Man In Motion tune ... Interesting, he was an impressive guitar player as well...
Mike, for me soundtracks were the music of the 80's, it was when I was interested in them anyway. All those John Hughes movies, Kenny Loggins' career in the 80's (hahaha), and then the best two.. Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Heavy Metal.
I'd give Pink Foyd some love here to as Ive heard Dark Side of the Moon works really well with The Wizard of Oz and The Wall also was a movie, but something tells me thats not the primary intent of those albums...
A clock maker with an IQ of a rabbit... hmm... not sure I'd buy a watch from him, I'd be nervous that all his work runs fast!
Enjoyed the show! I cant help but wondering if you earned your wings with this one?
