PSYCHOTHERAPY LEFTOVERS PT.2 SERIES FINALE

The Psychotherapy series ends with another Breakdown, then some final words from a Therapist that Love is a minefield.
No doubt about it, Love has made all of us a bit Crazy at some point in our lives.
So I decided to take the Crazy route.
And looking at all the choices I had for Crazy songs, I realized they could be a musical Genre of their own!
Several shows could be done on that Theme alone.
So it has been filed away in my memory for the future.
I hope you enjoy the ones I did pick for this Finale.
Those of you who know me, know that the opening and closing songs mean a great deal to me- one or the other is what I usually think of first in a Series.
This time there was really only one choice to end this whole thing with.
See if you agree with me!
I thank all of you who came along for the entire Psychotherapy Series, or just a part of it- it was done with a deep respect for those who need Therapy.
And I wish you all nothing but good health- Mental and Physical!

Dear RJ,
Hey man, I am on vacation- using a friend's laptop.
I gotta take a look at all those things you mentioned.
Thanks for making me feel so welcome here,
Mike

Mike, you can hear the songs on Scott's Hidden Treasures, Album Of The Week (by me), Lost/Forgotten Album Of The Week (by Jon), Videos Of The Week (by Niels) and New Music Corner (by Jon, Scott and myself). We all put music players, usually in the first reply, to each one of those features. All you have to do is push play, and you can skip around if you don't like something (normally reserved for use on Jon's LAOTW ha...ha...). Only joking. You can probably go back to any of them and still access the player. Let us know if you hear something you like. And I for one am very happy that you post your blog and show links on Classic Rock Bottom.

Dear RJ,
Thanks for the compliment.
After some time away, I was well rested and the ideas were flowing.
Hey man, you did great with your picks since I go all over the place, lol!
But it is a different way of presenting music- unlike today's radio with unconnected songs picked by computers.
So that's what happens when a guy doesn't have to go by a playlist, just free-form radio that can thread songs together, getting the listener involved and have fun with it.
Go It Alone did sound older, and it was a nice way to get to the Crazy songs.
Glad you are happily married, lol!
Walking After Midnight I think is my favorite by Patsy too- there's a great version if you can get to hear it by Madeline Peyroux.
That entire Moondance album by Van is a classic, doesn't have a clunker on it.
As I get older I like him more & more!
So Poco made it to Scott's Hidden Treasures, I was looking for that last week, but I think I am still feeling my way around here- can you PLAY the songs there?
I have an idea for the week after next, it's a sort of tradition- a serious one with a local touch.
As for that comic, I wanted to use it because I knew it would be Friday for the Finale, so why not casual?
But I didn't realize it had so much blank space connected to it, lol!
You are one terrific listener RJ, and it is fun to be here.
Thanks,
Mike

Dear Scott,
Nice pick, but I would save that one for a Love or Valentine's Day show.
Am I communicating, lol?
Thanks for listening and especially writing,
Mike

Dear RJ,
You did GREAT!
Considering all the world's choices I had, you hit 2 on the nose and got another with a group!
I forgot about Petty's Breakdown.
But I always have to deal with those time constraints anyway.
Nice job, we are in sync, lol!
Thanks for listening and writing,
Mike

Wow!! What a CRAZY show and series. And Mike, I mean that in the most complimentary way. I see that I only guessed right on 2 of the songs, but at least I got another band correct as well, just the wrong song (Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love).

This show had a fantastic playlist, top to bottom. The only song I was not familiar with was "Go It Alone", but I really liked the song (especially the lyrics and the song's theme, although I'm very happily married and glad of it) and I was very surprised to hear that it's a current song. Sounded older to me.

As I said, the Patsy Cline song is killer, but not my favorite by Patsy. That would be "Walking After Midnight".

The two "Crazy Love" titles were outstanding. Van Morrison sings that so well, and I love "Moondance" and "Into The Mystic" as well. The Poco song was featured a few weeks back on Classic Rock Bottom by Scott in Scott's Hidden Treasures #5. That is a beautiful song.

Great, great job with this show and both psychotherapy series Mike. Can't wait to see what the next series subject is.

P.S. That comic is great. Reminds me of The Office episode about casual Friday, where Meridith doesn't wear any underwear. Really funny.
