You have my email, so I'm waiting for that picture of Grace Slick. I will wait only for so long...
I saw Starship back in the 80's, and the opening "band" was The Outfield. I swear that half the crowd left when The Outfield was done and I was stunned since, even though it was Starship, Grace friggin' Slick was there. Idiots. Hope they went home and choked on their Outfield cassettes.
As for your list, I have everything you mentioned except for Blonde on Blonde (not a Dylan fan) and, of course, Surrealistic Pillow. So ha! Yes, I do have Tapestry believe it or not.
RJ & Jon,
Thomas? Damn! How old are you?
Unless you meant George.
I was a fan when they were just Jefferson.
You guys, as we say in Brookly, are pissers, LOL!!!

And Starship is completely different from Jefferson Starship which is different from Jefferson Airplane so looks like everyone needs some schooling. Except me, of course.
Just read RJ's reference to Jefferson Starship tunes and then Somebody to Love, hoping he knows that tune is from the Airplane and not the Starship (completely different bands as well as altitudes).
Love the pic of Haight-Ashbury - been there!
Totally with you on the Grace Slick crush thing, back in the day she was, well.. pretty slick! You should see the pics of her on Jefferson Starships Spitfire album! Nice!
I totally never heard anything other than that "WhooPee were all gonna die" song from Country Joe! Not bad!
Still love the Airplane tracks though! Nice job!
Dang it! I don't have a record collection. All because I don't own Surrealistic Pillow. I may have to correct that oversight.
The first song you played, Hello Hello, was okay, but the Jefferson Starship stuff was really cool. Everybody has heard Somebody To Love, which is a song my son has heard recently and really digs it (he heard it on the Jim Carey movie, The Cable Guy).
But the song Coming Back To Me was brilliant. That's the Golden Pell winner. But barely, 'cause I really liked Eastern Jam by Country Joe and the Fish. But I also really liked the song directly after Eastern Jam. But I missed the title and artists. Maybe you can set me straight on that one.
There are no birthdays today
