ROCKOLLECTIONS: BEATLE GEORGE- IN HIS OWN WORDS

It's that odd time where we are between the deaths of George Harrison, November 29, 2001 and John Lennon, December 8, 1980- two former Beatles.
If you had the joy of growing up with the Beatles, as they grew with us, and watched them develop into the what I will always call the Greatest Group That Ever Existed, then you know the sadness and mourning the loss of those 2 lads brought us.
I can honestly say- no Beatles, then I don't love music the way I do!
I will play Music, but also George talking.
And I think I can guarantee you will hear things you never have before!

Jon,
In truth, George's albums grew very inconsistent as time went on.
They had good songs with an equal number of awfuls.
Thing I remember about Time Bandits was how visually great it was!
You haven't stopped thinking of weird things, lol!
I am with you- something I used to do and think the same way- playing b-sides on the jukebox was fun. But nobody really noticed because they were mostly drunk, but I enjoyed it for myself. The hell with the others.
It WAS fun brother, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Never been a big George Harrison solo fan. Think I've mentioned that before and it might have been on this show or a show like this one.

What I definitely do remember is Hand Made Films and was surprised that it was GH's company. The first time I heard about that company was when Time Bandits was released and I didn't think the GH would have anything to do with the movie business, especially with a movie that was so oddly good. Guess I thought of weird things when I was younger.

Yeah, playing b-sides on the jukebox was fun. But nobody really noticed because they were mostly drunk, but I enjoyed it for myself. The hell with the others.
