Classic Rock Bottom

I'll be taking a lighter approach than the Hurricane with this look at Blackouts that have hit New York City and the Northeast over the years.
Not counting the smaller scale that still exists in some areas here, we have had Blackouts in 1965, 1977 and 2003.
I was a kid for the first one, November 9th, 1965, and it was fun.
For July 13th-14th 1977 I was with a girl, and it was romantic.
The one on August 14th 2003 just flat-out sucked, lol!
A sweltering Summer night with high humidity, and no way to get cool.
I'll begin with the first one in 1965, which happened at 5:27 in the afternoon.
So if you can, that is the recommended time to listen.
For the real experience, please have all electrical appliances shut off and pulled out of the wall...except for what you need to listen to this Musical Exploration Of Power Failures of course!
Let's Do Our Music in the Dark!
I'll leave a candle in the window for you, lol!

How COULD you forget about Frank?

He was such a despicable person, lol!

I always try to seperate the Art from the Artist, it has always been very difficult with him, but I am finally getting better at ot.

Can't help thinking about him being a tough guy, bullying people like the girl dealer in Atlantic City and getting her fired.

Sure is easy to be a tough guy when you have a bunch of bodyguards!

Jon,
I knew I'd catch hell for the 2 Bruces, but as always I DID IT ANYWAY, LOL!
I love the Younbloods original, and I am very well acquainted with the version by Robert Plant.
It ain't over, so don't be surprised if...!
Although it was a surprise that I played Sinatra...never liked him personally.
And it went too well with Springsteen to resist, lol!
Yes, they had electricity back then.
Think about this, if they had no electricity back then...how could there BE A BLACKOUT, LOL?
Thanks for listening, and you get the First Responder Prize,
Mike

What did I miss (again, it's been 9 hours since I listened so I FORGOT. Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce turned me off, sad you couldn't find another song about folks dancing in the dark. Ah well....

You remember your first blackout? They had electricity back then? Interesting.....
