ROCKOLLECTIONS: CALL ME MISTER PELL PT.2

Well I am getting those Oldies out of my system, and maybe coincidentally also had my ear fixed, lol!
But there are many hard-core Oldies people I know who think Music changed for the worse- ended even- with the arrival of the Beatles.
I like dipping back now and then for a show or two.
More songs with MR. in the title!
But that doesn't mean this is a Men Only Club, which I will prove.
Included is a song that didn't seem so bad an idea to play, but while I was listening to it I realized it was one of the WORST songs I have ever played on the show, lol!
I noted that and apologized, but there is no going back, no do-overs!
See if you can pick it out!
For me, the two best songs are the two next to last, and the second one surprisingly happy for what it says...hahahahahaha!!!
I must thank my Closer Than A Brother All-Time Pal Mike Hennessy for a pristine copy of that song.
To be continued.

Jon,

Well that first song was from 1977, so an Oldie/Modern combo.

That's me, stealing ideas from guys like you- I haven't had a new idea in years, lol!

I saw Jacob's Ladder, don't remember Mr Postman, was it out before 1995?
That's when I gave up drinking.

This could only be from YOU:

Hey, I heard that song dropping from Carole King! Was going to mention it, just assuming that you wouldn't have noticed. But you did! Proves my point that assuming makes the other person an ass! YES!

Oh yeah, proves your point- although I think you have that slightly backwards.

I have visited that Psychoanalyst many times, it's why I played her song, lol!

I don't know precisely what the Bobette's are singing in the background, but I like it.

Organ...which organ...good old good one from Johnny & Hurricanes!

Flthy, just filthy.

Don't know about the intervention, but now that my ear is working I hear whispering.

You just wish I would play more old stuff instead of playing this new stuff?

Say, arent you the guy...LOL?

Thanks for listening and wriing, and make up your mind- plus once again, I was GREAT in that show!

Actually, that first song did sound a bit more "modern" than the rest. Maybe you need another ear cleaning?

I posted that Chordettes song a couple months ago, as well as a cover of the same song. All that work for nothing or are you stealing my ideas????????????

Was waiting for "Mr Postman". Everytime I hear that song, I think of "Jacob's Ladder". Watch the movie, you'll understand.

"Please Mr Disc Jockey" was a nice song.

Hey, I heard that song dropping from Carole King! Was going to mention it, just assuming that you wouldn't have noticed. But you did! Proves my point that assuming makes the other person an ass! YES!

Psychoanalyst, huh? And you have visited her how many times????

"Tidy whitey wap"?? Is that what the Bobette's are singing in the background?

Like the last song, someone was going insane on the organ. No, not that organ. You're silly!

Intervention time!

Just wish you would play more old stuff instead of playing this new stuff.
