Classic Rock Bottom

The next to last Chapter of my exploration of Rock & Roll Mister Songs.
Not being a sexist about it, there are far more Mr. songs than Miss, Mrs. or Ms. songs combined.
The hardest part of this was choosing from so many tunes.
In this episode, some Greek, some Dancing, Looking At The Sky, a couple of more Miserable Songs, and another version of a song I played last week.
Here's a hint on that last one..."Sing Teddy Sing".
All in all, I think your reaction will be, why didn't he play these earlier, lol?

Here are the links to listen to a very interesting collection I do think you will like, at Mike Pell Rockollections:

When Mr. Mister started, my first thought was that this show would be all bands with Mr. in their name...but then I guess you would have had to play all Mr. Mister...

Hahahahahaha...maybe not RJ,  but another good point you make.

Too early in the morning for me to think of other Mr. groups or artists, but I'm sure they're out there.

Oh forgot, I hear the Beatles influence in there by ELO!

RJ,
I was in a semi-hit playing mood, so there was a good chance you'd know some or most of them- that's why I wrote "why didn't he play these earlier?".
But sometimes I am surprised at the ones you know and the ones you don't!
I forgot about that, the special award, the Classic Pell.
You don't overuse it, so it's a nice surprise.
And it goes to to Mr. Blue Sky!
It's funny how our attitudes can change about a song- it usually happens after a long time not hearing it, then one day...BAM, you like it, lol!
I would have given it to The Critters, simply because I myself hadn't heard it in so long and always liked it!
Mr. Dyingly Sad is the right title, except for some reason they spell it Mr. Dieingly Sad.
I would have used your spelling!
That was a fun chapter for me, but then I always have fun picking out what I play- having made peace with the fact I can't please everyone all the time.
But hey, it's human- not a computer picking the songs randomly- and most especially there's the element of unpredictability missing so badly in today's Radio!
GO TEDDY, LOL!
Thanks for the listen and writing, one more to go and it will be different,
Mike
