ROCKOLLECTIONS: CHRISTMAS DAY 2012 PT.1

For only the second time ever, Rockollections will be broadcast terrestrially on the actual Christmas Day itself this Tuesday!
And that of course called for Something Special.
So you have the opportunity to hear the show before it goes out on the airwaves.
Now, I know last week, for no matter where you live, I GUARANTEED you a White Christmas!
And I will deliver.
How could I be so sure that I could make that promise?
Let's just say I had a tough guy backing me up...like a mobster actually, lol!
Join me for Sleigh Rides, Snowballs, Sledding and just Leaving Your Footprints in that white stuff I love so much.
And I will share with you an instrumental having nothing to do with the Christmas Season, that I quite accidentally many years ago discovered works so well to listen to when Snow is falling.
No kidding, I hope you'll try it- next time Snow is coming down, crank this song up and go to the window...it's perfect!
Let's enjoy this White Christmas Day together!

Bundle up and don't forget your scarf, gloves and galoshes, here are the links to listen for this beautiful Christmas Day, at Mike Pell Rockollections:

Jon,
Thankfully I never think of that movie when I am digging into a bowl of split pea soup (which the best I ever had is the one I make!).
Yeah, I knew I would fit that Pesci song in there somewhere, lol!
I had originally intended to play James Taylor, but my friend Lou suggested I go way back to the Simon & Garfunkel one.
Turned out well because it was about half as long.
Dino's is THE version, and I guess you mean no drinking at work?
That's NOT unusual, lol!
Jethro Tull nicely comes to Brooklyn for some snow!
Please listen to Part Two, I have some special things in there.
Thanks for the listen and writing and Merry Christmas,
Mike

You know what? Tubular Bells is great to listen to when you're in a room with a possessed person spewing split pea soup all over the place as their head spins around.

This was a nice listen, especially liked the Pesci song, "bunch of reform school brats". I think the Simon and Garfunkel song was missing some 'Yeehaws" but maybe that just me.

Chicago was allright I guess. I dunno. But Dino? Listening made me want to drink but they won't let me here because they're complete bastards.

Jethro Tull was very nice.
