ROCKOLLECTIONS: CHRISTMAS PARTY 2014 PT.4 END

Proving the Party is all-inclusive, I'll open this final episode with a song for Hanukkah.
Then Songs Of Joy, and some Carols that we don't get to hear.
It seems the British are the ones keeping these songs from prior Centuries alive.
To end the set, a contemporary telling of the Reason For The Season.
I always attempt to bring you an Uncommon Collection of Christmas songs that haven't been overplayed by commercial radio.
I hope I succeeded.
During this beautiful time of year, I wish you wonderful people the Happiest Of Holidays!
And once again I’ll steal from Charles Dickens and Tiny Tim.
“Merry Christmas To Us All…And God Bless Us Every One!”

Jon,
You were IN IT!
In the Christmasmas spirit!
Till the cat set everything on fire, another reason I like dogs, lol!
Very impressive, you knowing Pentangle came before Renaissance.
A couple of impressive Brit folkies in that group- Bert Jansch and John Renbourn.
Donovan did at least 2 songs dedicated to Jansch!
Hey great, the cat's on fire....LOL!
Merry Christmas Jonny Jon Jon- good name for a rapper!
Thanks for the listen and writing, you're a dependable guy,
Mike

Sigh.

This show was so wonderful, I decided to get in the Xmas spirit. It didn't last long, though. Cat jumped up on the desk and knocked over my beer. Now the room is on fire and the water has been turned off, plus the extinguisher is empty. I beat the flames with my pj's, but they also caught on fire. Now my hair is on fire.

Pentangle. Everytime I hear their name, I expect something dark, but they're quite nice. Kinda reminds me of Renaissance, but it should be the other way around since Pentangle came before Renaissance.

Great. Now the cat's on fire.......

Have a nice Xmas, Mikey Mike Mike!
