ROCKOLLECTIONS: HAPPY BIRTHDAY PT.2

We are celebrating Birthdays, all around the Calendar.
So from me to you, whenever it is, Happy Birthday!
You can put that in the bank and cash it when your Birthday comes around.
This time around a musical look at nostalgia as we move on in years.
That feeling that the best days are behind us, when they may just possibly lie ahead.
Plus, I have always felt that your birthday is your own Personal Holiday…YOU are a Holiday!
Take off from work, march in your own parade, etc.
But then, I think you should be able to have your Date Of Birth legally changed too!
After all, it’s YOURS, it belongs to you- why can’t you do what you want with it?
You can have your NAME legally changed.
Hell, I’d shave 10 years off my birth right away…I don’t mind waiting for Social Security, lol!
Ah, what do I know?
At any rate, maybe I should say “Happy Personal Holiday On The Anniversary Of Your Entrance Into The World”!
There…put that in the bank too.
Not done with this, I will continue next week.

Jon,
How do you mean that BS, lol?
Who knows if that CSN is unknown, I never heard/hear it on the radio, but maybe I  had already stopped listening.
I've reached such an almost insular state with music that songs I expect people to know, they don't...and vice versa.
I mean, there are songs I know like the back of my hand, and were played on WNEW-FM, yet nobody seems to know them.
But maybe it's better to be out of touch, like the Kinks sing "You never gave in to fashion, you never followed any trend."
That's me alright, lol!
See, like I didn't know the Pretenders did that Dylan song.
Come on Jonny me lad, you are liking Dylan more and more.
I'm making a convert, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing, and do those Fudgies ship well?, lol,
Mike

Yep, remember this one because there was basically a double-dose of BS, almost cleansed by DLR.

One thing I still don't get is that CSN is unknown? I remember it being played a lot on the radio when it came out.

Other than the BS, I like this show. That last song was covered by The Pretenders, plus the Rod version is kinda like this. Good song. Even from BD!
