ROCKOLLECTIONS: HAPPY BIRTHDAY PT.3

Continuing with our celebration of ALL Birthdays Around The Calendar, I even have a song for those who don't want to be included.
Musical selections include a Happy Birthday that doesn't seem Happy, one that does, a song that captures almost all parts of my growing up by what I saw on TV, and as beautiful an interpretation of a Beatle song as you will ever hear (and remarkably it came out the same year the Beatles version did).
Oh, and in here, I will be playing what I have for many many years felt is the BEST song I have ever heard!
I'll end the Birthdays salute next episode with all Good Feelings.
Of course there is nothing wrong with this one.
Enjoy!

Well I don't know if it was quick, but it got here!

But the Sunshine Ship is incomplete...oh I'll have to play it again in another show, lol!

I work from home from Wednesdays on, it's pretty good but you have to go in just to show your face, and keep in the loop those other days.

AHA, it fell off the truck...hahahaha, spoken like a true made Mafioso, LOL!

Wow. It got there that quick? I am surprised at the USPS! They rule!

Hah, I can just listen to this show again if I wanna be happy!

I worked from home for quite awhile si I could listen to anything at anytime. That's going to change soon though.....unless I win the lottery.

I have a few of those "magical" gifts. One day I'll tell you how  got 'em (HINT: Sometimes it's good to follow delivery trucks)!

Jon,
I guess an Un-Birthday is/are the other 364 days of the year that aren't your birthday.
Speaking of which, I just came home on the 362nd day for which I am a year younger, and the most Magical package was waiting for me!
Oh man, as a Beatle nut I can't wait to watch that!
Gee, that was so nice, I can't thank you enough!
That little note made me laugh- it's so YOU!
As for this half show, I think you have it, that Carly is singing about the Jawsie shark fear.
Too late for Fogerty to change it, but another good point, "I know it's true because I read it on the internet", lol!
I do believe "Doodyville" is the place Howdy Doody and gang lived.
It was an innocent time then, you would have been asked to leave wherever you were, lol!
Judy Collins' eyes are pretty nice, her voice even better.
YOUR BIRTHDAY WAS NOT LAST WEEK is correct, but close enough for a rerun, where I get to relax and plan my next Theme.
That last song is really happy, I had to cut it, do you want the whole thing?
I owe you!
Incidentally, I tried to verbally space the name of the singers so people wouldn't think it was a guy in there named Arthur Hurley...it's 3 guys, Arthur, Hurley & Gottleib, and what a nice little song it is.
I've always wondered how you can listen to what I play so early in the morning?
Am I a pick-me-up, even better than coffee, lol?
Thank you so much for the listen, writing, and ESPECIALLY the Magical gift- you are a friend indeed!

So, we never heard what an "un-birthday" was. Never watched the movie so would have no idea. Did read the book though, but that was so many years ago.

Why wouldn't Carly want you to go into the ocean? Was she also caught up in the Jawsie shark fear?

John needs to change that song around. It should be "i know it's true because I read it on the internet". Just trying to update. But he did say "doodyville". A town full of doody.

Judy Collins had cool eyes. Maybe she still does unless they fell out.

YOUR BIRTHDAY WAS NOT LAST WEEK!

Hey, that last song was really happy. Maybe too happy for so early in the morning. I want to ride away!

Nice show!
