Jon,
The voices in your head?
I hear them too!
Man that sucks, a quadruple birthday.
And you don't get your cake.
I'll be your friend, lol!
Happy Thanksgiving...er...Easter,
Mike
"They" are the woman and my friends. Ok, the woman. And the voices in my head. Happy now? Now I'm depressed AGAIN because I have...no....friends.
There's actually a "group" birthday at her parents house every Thanksgiving since there's 4 people that have a b'day around the same time and every year I bring up FTW and everytime they serve the regular, disgusting cake so every year I go home depressed. THANKSgiving my ass!
And this was uplifting! First depressing, this uplifting....what are you trying to do to me????
As for b'day parties...I don't want 'em. I wanna sit at home and watch a bunch of James Bond movies. Plus I want someone to give me a &*^%#$^ FUDGIE THE WHALE cake, dammit! But no, they claim it's too expensinve. Too expensive??!! On my b'day?? Are they kidding????
My plan was to listen to this yesterday, but that just didn't work out. So I got in an early listen today.
I didn't get the title of the first song, but the whole time I thought it was the dude that did the Welcome Back, Kotter theme. Low and behold, I was correct. Good ole John Sebastion, the guy that bought the ladder for The Beatles to hang the moon with.
The James Taylor song was the only familiar one to me. I was pretty sure the 6th song was Seals and Croft, and you confirmed it for me. It had a nice sound but was a bit repetitive. Still not bad.
I liked the closing tune by The Moody Blues too, but I had a battle between Paul Revere And The Raiders and Poco for the Golden Pell. I know Scott likes Poco a lot, and this song had some nice harmonies, which are always a strong point for me. But I'm going with the former, PRATR for Good Thing. I swear some of the harmonies on this song sound like The Beach Boys.
There are no birthdays today
