I don't think it's a thing at work.
Even I have to login to leave a comment, and I did the damn show!
Used to just go there and it would remember me.
Either they changed, or it will come back to normal.
Well, you just handled Jon about as well as can be expected...
For some reason, I can't sign in to podomatic at work, it won't let me. I think it works fine at home, but then I have to remember to do it so I can copy/paste my comment. I think I need to do that for the last two shows.
I didn't like anything here at all. I don't like Mary anymore. I have all these songs but have scratched them off the CD's so I never have to listen to them ever again.
B&W movies are stupid. I never watch them. What's the point? They had color back then so making movies b&w is just a waste of my time. Never have watched one, never will.
The Gordon Lightfoot and Harry Chapin songs were great, even though I don't like them. Too bad I'll never hear them again on my CD's. Bob Seger is the greatest ever but I don't like him, but like him a lot. Have every album and thing they're the greatest but don't like them at all.
Rick Nelson did that garden party song. I don't like that song. I didn't like this song either. That garden party song is really good, but I don't like it.
Oh the hell with it. I don't like nuthin'.
I think I liked this show even more than the last Mary show. There was a plethora of material from which to choose a Golden Pell winner.
One song that won't win but I really wanna mention was If My Mary Were Here by Harry Chapin. That song tells a great story. How often in the course of humanity do you reckon this has happened. I'm drunk so I'm calling an old girlfriend to talk about how my most recent girlfriend has left me. Great lyrical story there.
And I'm so glad you played a Bob Seger tune...you know, Jon really, really loves Bob Seger. So good for Jon.
I believe the Bob Seger song and Hello Marylou by Rick Nelson were the only two songs I've heard before.
And finally, the fight for the Golden Pell. Originally, it was going to Sam Cooke. I dig that song and I love the vocal and background vocals. Awesome. But then, along comes Dadsworth Mansion (or something like that) and Gordon Lightfoot. Why do I not have a bunch of Gordo in my collection? I'm going to the record store Saturday and I'm gonna see what I can find. It was a tough, tough decision, but I'm giving the GP to...
Sam Cooke. It's just such a great song, it has to be a winner.
Yessir.
Is that Supertramp?
"Goodbye Mary, goodbye Jane/Will we ever, meet again"...heard this yesterday. Also heard a song with the name John in it, but can't remember what it was.
There are no birthdays today
