ROCKOLLECTIONS: MEMORIAL DAY 2014 PT.2 END

The Official Memorial Day Remembrance concludes for this year, but in my heart continues the other 364 days.
This time, I'll open with song about a guy who, I hate to say it, would have made it easier on his family and himself if he had not come home from war overseas.
The song contains probably the most powerful metaphor I have ever heard!
Included in this closing Chapter, the story of a tune I heard in church being played by the organist- and I couldn't quite understand why.
It called for some Musical Detective Work, and I'll re-create it for you.
To close, what the World needs is what Each of us needs.
Memorial Day is much much more than the unofficial start of Summer.
Please partake in the tradition of A National Moment Of Silence at 3 PM your local time this coming Monday.
My undying Gratitude and Love to all who Serve, Served, and Gave All!

Just click the share button and get the embed code.

Nice going with the Beatles...and FAST!

I like this: "that song or, IN SOME CASES, the whole album", hahahaha...you ARE a pisser!

Beating us over the head until we jump off the roof, LOL!

Sounds easy, if I can find the embed code- that's why I never posted a video, didn't know how.

But sometimes ignorance is bliss.

Thanks...maybe, lol!

It's easy. Just go to youtube and type in the song you're looking for. Someone somewhere has probably posted that song or, IN SOME CASES, the whole album. Then you just get the embed code and copy it to the page/site.

I know Jon, I got it- and that was nice of you to do, must be a bitch to post a whole album, I don't even know HOW to post a one-song video.

But if I did, I'd post I Want To Hold Your Hand by the Beatles, LOL!

I'm not holding his hand. Ever.

Let me go thru this AGAIN:

The only way I could share that one song was to post the entire album. There is not a video for that one song. I guess I could have made a file on podsnack and shared it that way, but going thru youtube was much easier. If that one one was available on youtube, I would have posted that one song. However, that one song is not available on youtube. To listen to that one song, I had to post the whole album.

Let me reiterate those points, in bold:

1) There is not a video for that one song.

B) To listen to that one song, I had to post the whole album.

2) There is not a video for that one song.

C) To listen to that one song, I had to post the whole album.

3) There is not a video for that one song.

D) To listen to that one song, I had to post the whole album.

4) There is not a video for that one song.

E) To listen to that one song, I had to post the whole album.

5) There is not a video for that one song.

F) To listen to that one song, I had to post the whole album.

6) There is not a video for that one song.

G) To listen to that one song, I had to post the whole album.

7) There is not a video for that one song.

H) To listen to that one song, I had to post the whole album.

8) There is not a video for that one song.

I) To listen to that one song, I had to post the whole album.

Yes, that's what Jon did, but maybe he wanted me to listen to some of the other songs too.

It's a pain in the ass, but not that much of one- and I'll probably go back and listen to some of the others.

I don't think he meant to be inconsiderate.

And Jon, there were no Losers...I got to hear songs from both of you I hadn't before.

Cause you guys are more up to date, and also help me with my 1985-1995 dropout from music period.

Now let's hold hands and sing together, LOL!
