I am going to start off the last half of this National Train Day show with a little something that, if you are of a certain age, will have your memory whirring.
And all in keeping technically within our Theme.
After that, as I so often do to get the blood flowing to my brain, I will play what I guess is the first song I can remember hearing about Trains as a kid.
I like Trains, so I'll tell you why we still need them and just why I do like them.
I'll also have a set featuring Actual Names of Real Trains, and there may be a surprise or two in there.
Lastly, the Best Song I could think of to end our Salute To Trains.
I truly think you'll approve of this collection.
Enjoy!

Jon,
I remember that G & P sounding like a train too.
Must have been either before or after the one I played.
Thanks for the listen,
Mike
Yep, they still make Good N Plenty and you can find it in stores. As for Good N Fruity, that's a different story. Good swear there was a GnP commercial where it sounded like a train when they kept repeating "Good N Plenty, Good N Plenty....".
There are no birthdays today
