Classic Rock Bottom

More Music from some Old Friends who released new albums in 2014.
I was happily surprised by how good Neil Diamond's Melody Road is- it is simply comforting Neil Diamond type Music, he hasn't lost a step.
From Robert Plant came an album with a different sound for me, but I like it.
And very quietly Robert Gordon put out an album called I'm Coming Home, as usual with mostly Cover Songs, but I'll play a couple of Originals he does on it.
Again all these songs are just what I heard and liked, very uncomplicated.
Oh, there is one of those surprise false endings here, like in some songs we've heard over the years, lol!
And again, enjoy!

Glad to hear the storm safely passed by you...

Forgot Neal Diamond had a new release in 14...  His voice has changed, but you can still hear what made him great!  Nice tunes also, very pleasant and nostalgic.  Still love The Jazz Singer soundtrack and that late 70's era for him was so good.  Even that old "Forever In Blue Jeans" tune still works for me!

Ahh...  the controversial Robert Plant solo.  I like it, several others did not.  I think his solo work is an acquired taste.  Though I prefer his first 3 solos records, by far actually, this one worked for me where I usually wouldn't like this style.   Why?  I still haven't figured that out, I'm just going with it!

Robert Gordon?  Not ringing any bells...

Gotta say, that Neal Diamond was quite a surprise.  It gets the G'Pell!
