Finishing up my acknowledgement of Record Store Day last Saturday, a recreation by Thomas Edison, inventor of the Phonograph or Gramophone, of the first words he ever spoke on Record, which was actually on a Cylinder.
I'll go off on another rant about how people don't actually physically HOLD Music in their hands anymore!
But for me, the Centerpiece of this Chapter is that I will play a Song specifically for each of the 3 Speeds on a Phonograph- 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM.
That RPM is Revolutions Per Minute for those who don't know, and a Phonograph is a Machine that plays Vinyl Platters for those who don't know, lol!
This is one fun episode...trust me!

Jon,
You are welcome!
You are alone among all the other Millenial know-nothings, LOL!
Nice going!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike
Thanks for explaining what records are. There can't be mature people that don't know what they are, can there (other than me, of course)?
There are no birthdays today
