Great show Mike. There's really nothing more to say, every song you played was wonderful (yes, even Springsteen)
Last month we went to the Pennsylvania site, if anyone hasn't, it's quite something to see.
What a great show today brother. That was such a terrible day. It took 10 years to get the mastermind, but we got him. You should do a show about getting the bad guys maybe.
I thought everything you played was very nice. And Scott was right about everything he said, except the last sentence.
Two songs really stood out to me, so they will share the Golden Pell. It's World Gone Crazy by Gary Fletcher and Empty Sky by The Boss. Now that's two songs I'd love to have (hint, hint). The lyrics of the latter are terrific, as is the acoustic accompaniment of the former.
And an absolute honorable mention for Firefighter Mike Moran. What an incredible speech.
I would send you a great song called Heaven Nine Eleven by Tesla, but I'm pretty sure I sent it to you either last year or the year before.
Just hit me that it was Tuesday as well...
Was taking my Mother and Sister to the Raleigh airport that morning, got them as far as their gate and the airport went black, all monitors were off and an eerie silence ensued with no information coming forth for about 30 minutes or so. Meanwhile the runway was filling up with planes rapidly as flight diversions from Baltimore were landing with no gates to pull into... Thankfully they never were allowed to board their plane or were in the air.. We drove back to Charlotte and waited until a rental car was available and they drove home from there. North Carolina to Idaho...
Nice show... loved the emotion, pain, anger and fight that you got across in the lyrics of these tracks!
Golden Pell goes to the acoustic track from David Roth, nice stuff...
