This was cool.
I'm not at all surprised that you started with Tom Paxton. After all, he did open the store where John Sebastian bought the ladder that Bob Dylan held while The Beatles hung the moon.
I love the song King Of The Road by Roger Miller, but I must say, in all my years of having heard that song, I never really listened to the lyrics. I didn't realize what it was about. More education by the Pell Master.
Most of this stuff is so depressing. Then you play the Allman Brothers. That's not depressing. It gets you up and ready to go. Good choice.
And finally, I'm sticking The Indigo Girls w/Annie DiFranco's version of Ramblin' Round with the Golden Pell. Their voices sound great. And I love it when a female covers a song that is sung from a man's point of view and she doesn't change that point of view. That's cool in my book.
Later bro.
When you started this with "Movin' on", I thought it was going to be a tribute to The Jeffersons.
