RJ,
It's incredible how after 5 years the shows seem new.
I listen to them expecting to hear songs I would play if I did the Series today, but then I am surprised at what I did play- it's like someone else did the shows.
Someone I like to listen to a lot, lol!
All killer, no filler- that's cool!
Sorry I played The Wedding Song (There Is Love), I had no way of knowing, lol!
Thinking back, that Carly Simon tune was the first introduction to her for us radio listeners, very impressive.
And the Springsteen song was one I forgot about and should have played last summer when I did that Wedding Series.
Some New Music for you!
Hey, I am one of the few guys I know who can say he was never divorced...damn, I'm good, lol!
Thanks for writing and going back to listen again- see, it can be gratifying fun after some years pass,
Mike

This show was wonderful. The last part (part 3) had mostly songs unfamiliar. This one is just the opposite. I love the contrast. Quite simply, this playlist is all killer, no filler. Well, that's not exactly true. You did make one mistake. You played "There Is Love", which was played at my first wedding (obviously, the marriage didn't last). But hey, I'm happy now, so everything's cool.

All the songs were great, but my favorite was Carly Simon's tune (she has such a beautiful voice) and the Springsteen song. That one was new to me.

Jon,
Now let me get this straght, you like this one the best because it depresses you so much.
You are a strange one, lol!
Actually the Carly Simon song is depressing, meant to be that way to make her point.
You didn't have to mention it, I EXPECTED you to not like Bruuuuuuuuuce.
That does go without saying now, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Well, forgot to mention that I liked everything except for Bruuuuuuuuuce. That should go without saying now, I think.

Yes, this one is familiar as well. I think I like this one the best so far, probably because it depresses me so much. That Carly Simon song depresses me. Don't know why, but it does. What a catastrophe!
