And Roger Miller seems like a necessary one whenever I return tto the Convention, lol!

I enjoyed sneaking in The Allman Brothers, seemed like a nice rocking surprise that fit the topic, and the song goes back to the Depression 1930's!

Did you listen to Delaney & Bonnie in mono?
That would be my only guess since it sounded alright on everything I played and heard it on.

And the Golden Pell goes to Tom Paxton!

Well deserved by him, and I think he should win it again in Part Two, lol!

Thanks for the listen and writing,

Jon,

Very sharp, yes it was.

Well Stephen King places many of his stories in New England, wonder which you were thinking of?

This one made me want to hit the rails too.

They're gone, so are yours.

Now that this show has scared the hell out of you I should just say lighten up with the food and trains- it's more likely the economy will crash and then you'll starve, lol!

Have a friend I took to the hospital and is still there, an infection spread to the bone, four IV's in him, and they removed a toe.

Reason I mention it is because I have been going to his house sometimes twice a day feeding his cats, paying rent & bills, etc.- 7 days a week!

It's over a month and a half and I am beat and behind on everything!

Now he has to go to rehabilitation for 2 weeks.

It's why I am playing re-runs, no time or energy or patience for new shows.

But I am trying for a new one next week.

Thanks for the listen and writing,

Well bro, you're back so I'm back. I know you've done stuff before regarding hobos, but I feel like this is a new show. Is that correct?

Anyway, Tom Paxton and John Prine to kick this show off. Nice use of two staples to open. And Roger Miller. Always a cool song (King of the Road).

And I tell you, that Indigo Girls song was very good. Rambling 'Round I think you said.

I don't think you'll get an argument from anybody playing The Allman Brothers. The guitar on that song (well, all of their songs) is so good.

The Delaney & Bonnie song was okay, but I could barely hear it. Must have been a low quality copy that you have. Who knows?

And for the moment I know you've been waiting for, the Golden Pell goes to......Tom Paxton. That was a very cool song.

Was this a repeat? Could swear you've done a hobo show before.

Still, this was an interesting show, but why is it that everytime I hear "Bangor" mentioned, I think of Stephen King? There's gotta be a reason.

This show made me want to hit the rails but, sadly, there's no more rails here. A few years ago they stopped the trains that came thru, even got rid of the train that had one of those mystery shows. Now the tracks are paved over and I never hear the mournful train whistle…

This show made me want to hit the rails but, sadly, there's no more rails here. A few years ago they stopped the trains that came thru, even got rid of the train that had one of those mystery shows. Now the tracks are paved over and I never hear the mournful train whistle early in the morning. How do we get food without trains? Are we going to run out of food? Should I prepare?

Now that I think about it, this show has scared the hell out of me.
