<div>RJ,</div>
<div>Oh man, you know how I feel about those bastards, so VERY difficult, lol!</div>
<div>Yes, I never sound, or look, better than I do in ear buds- with actual large headphones, people have been know to faint, lol!</div>
<div>Follow The Light is a great song, wish I had a better copy, but I sent it to you anyway.</div>

<div>I understand the writer John McCutcheon was on his way back to a motel after a gig when he saw a sighn for the motel that said Follow The Light, and he thought of the recent 9/11 attack and a song was born.</div>
<div>See, another thing I like about your writing me, I wouldn't have put the two together, Jen Chapin & Janis Ian, but I hear it now!</div>
<div>I did notice that though, Bruce sounds raspier than usual on Souls Of The Departed.</div>
<div>Let Them In by John Gorka is my absolute favorite in that chapter, I really do cry when I hear it- odd how it undoubtedly would work over a 9/11 montage even though it is a poem from WWI!</div>
<div>I thought I might be taking a risk with The Prayer Of St. Francis, but I played it by Sarah MacLachlan on the 5th Anniversary which is shorter than the Burns Sisters, so why not.</div>
<div>Incidentally, I am deliberately trying to not REPEAT any of the songs I played for that 5th Anniversary, but there are a few I couldn't help using again.</div>
<div>However I would say the music in these shows are 90% or more different from the ones of 5 years ago!</div>
<div>I am taking a different look.</div>
<div>The Stevie Wonder song was another last minute pick, came out nowhere and I had to run around and find it, lol!</div>
<div>Oh yeah, he should be in your collection, Stevie just kept getting better, although he hasn't done much of note lately that I have heard.</div>
<div>Here's how the show sometimes works- I did the Prayer set with 4 songs, originally 3 till I thought of Stevie and I can't think of another that would fit as well with those 4, plus I don't want to beat everybody over the head with the Prayer thing.</div>
<div>However I have time left, and I know I want to say something to the people who may have lost someone in the attacks, but I don't have 5 minutes worth of talking unless I let myself get pissed off and go off on a rant, lol!</div>
<div>So I need a song, but then I won't have time to come back and say goodbye.</div>
<div>Keep Me In Your Heart by Warren Zevon strikes me, and with what he says I don't need to come back!</div>
<div>I can say goodbye before I play it and leave people with all the emotion packed in there- a song he wrote for his final album when he knew he was dying of cancer.</div>
<div>Sometimes the show is an accident in progress that seems to work out fine for me.</div>
<div>One last thing though, they have been emotionally draining for me, but I will Follow The Light!</div>
<div>Thanks for saying it was wonderful my friend, and hey copy & paste your comments for WLSO.FM ok?, I like this one,</div>

<p>Mike,<b><br></br></b> Great show. I have a question for you. How difficult was it to restrain yourself in your description of the extremists by just saying “happy-go-lucky”?</p>

<p>This is my second listen to this show. The first time I was distracted, but this time I put in the ear buds and payed attention. Which, I must say, is the best way to listen to your show.</p>

<p> </p>
<p>Follow The Light is lyrically beautiful song. I liked it much more upon a second listen. And Hurry Up Sky…wow! That’s an amazing song. If you take away the context of this show, it sounds like something you would hear by Janis Ian on a Saturday night radio show from the 70’s.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Souls Of The Departed does sound like Pink Cadillac, but it’s a better song. My only problem with Bruce from time to time is his vocal delivery, which is probably part of his attraction for many folks.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Let Them In and The Prayer Of St. Francis are my two favorites from this show (but I like every single song). Again, both songs are lyrically amazing and I can really see/hear the former song being played over a video montage tribute for those who lost their lives that day.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Stevie Wonder is an artist that is sorely missing from my collection. This song is terrific.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>And finally, Keep Me In Your Heart by Warren Z. Great song, and how ’bout the line “there’s a train leaving nightly called when all is said and done”. That is brilliant my friend.</p>
<p> </p>
