Just heard the new Styx-album.....

Awesome sound! Best production, I've heard in years.

The songs could probably had been a little stronger, but who knows,
maybe they will be better after a few more listeningd,
Right now, I love this album!

I don't know. I kind of like him. Perhaps I'm not a real Styx fan. When Tommy Shaw joined I had my doubts, but he worked out fine. I don't own any Styx album since Gowan become a member, but I think I have equal number of Gowan and DDY solo CD's in my collection (more precicely one of each). Styx could have done much worst than him too. Is the new album coming up in NMC? Won't mind hearing few songs.

No REAL Styx fans likes the replacement player that was chosen, they could've done way better than a parody of DDY...  Somebody unique with some song writing talent wouldve been a good choice...

It was postponed.

Apparently they are releasing the STYX - Gowan Plays All Edition first after the pressure from the petition initiated by his fans.
