Totally enjoyed this show Mike.
All songs were good. Again, it had that oldies feel. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I have always liked the Johnny Maestro And The Brooklyn Bridge song. But other than that and Alone Again, Naturally, all of these were new to me.
I thought about giving the Golden Pell to Lloyd Price for Where Were You On Our Wedding Day. But the closer was so good, I'm giving it to Graham Parsons and Emmy Lou Harris for A Thousand Dollar Wedding. That was terrific.
But I'm not stopping there, I'm also handing out a Classic Pell to Gilbert O'Sullivan for Alone Again, Naturally. That has got to be one of the saddest songs ever. I mean really sad.
Like I said, I really enjoyed this one.
Jon,
The proper way to listen is to drop everything and GIVE ME YOUR FULL ATTENTION, LOL!!!
Everybody knows that!
Mmmmm, let's see...bunny hop crap...maybe that's why they were hopping.
Happens to me occasionally, lol!
What's with the peace, I ain't bombing anybody?
Mike
No distractions, I work on stuff while listening and then it automatically repeats so I get to listen again and see if I missed anything the first time around. Didn't work with show #8 since I missed that bunny hop crap, but wouldn't have noticed it with 300 listens, so I have no idea why I brought that up. PEACE!
I dunno, Mike. I just couldn't get into this show for some reason (and yes, I did listen to it twice as I usually do). Nothing really grabbed me, maybe the Graham Parsons song, the GIlbert O'Sullivan song has always bugged the crap out of me.
I have no stories to tell.
Maybe I'm losing my touch.
Are you losing your touch? Nah.
Maybe too much wedding talk? Could be.
Sorry. You can't please everyone every time.
Sorry.
There are no birthdays today
