Classic Rock Bottom

Motley Crue's career, supposedly, is over as of December 31st, 2015.  So there's no better time to cover the band's catalog than right now.  Too Fast For Love was released on November 10, 1981. It's raw and it's loud.  It's rifftastic and Vince Neil never sounded better.  This was not where I discovered the Crue.  But I picked it up several years back, and it's very near the top of their catalog for me.  What do you think? Remember, I'll rank as I go.

The Crue's first album is actually my favorite release of theirs. It is a raw album, they became much more polished after this one.

I didn't discover this album until after their 2nd album was out (I was born in 1974, so I was a little young). You can hear (as with most debut albums) the youthfulness, excitement, and ruthlessness in the music on this album. It paved the way for the newer sound that was exploding out of the West Coast. As with most young drummers, the cowbell is very prominent on this album!! :-)
