What CD's or DVD's have you recently purchased?  And it doesn't have to be classic rock.  Let us know about any purchases that you think are worth sharing.

I have to say, you are the only person I know in 2017 that replaces cassettes with cassettes.  I love it!

It's just cheaper for me, which is something I need to be aware of now.

I got my copy of the Rock Candy Records reissue of Survivor's Vital Signs in the mail today.

I also picked up 3 LPs:

John Waite - Mask of Smiles

Giuffria - Silk & Steel

Femme Fatale - S/T

I picked up two CDs via eBay:

Accept - Eat The Heat

Dangerous Toys - S/T

I picked up two LPS:

XYZ - S/T
Black N' Blue - Nasty Nasty

I picked up five cassettes

The Pretenders - Learning To Crawl
Autograph - Sign In Please
Fiona - Heart Like A Gun
Corey Hart - Boy In The Box
Eddie Money - Nothing To Lose

Since my last post...

  • Metallica - Hardwired... To Self Destruct
  • Metallica - Death Magnetic
  • Metallica - ...And Justice For All
  • Metallica - Kill 'em All
  • The Neal Morse Band - The Similitude of a Dream
  • The Rolling Stones - Blue and Lonesome
  • Devon Allman - Ride or Die
  • Devon Allman's Honeytribe - Torch
  • Devon Allman's Honeytribe - Space Age Blues
  • Camel - Mirage [Expanded Edition]
  • Camel - Moonmadness
  • Camel - Rain Dances +7
  • Budgie - The MCA Albums 1973-1975
  • Pat Travers - Feelin' RIght (The Polydor Albums 1975 - 1984)
  • Earth Wind & Fire - Earth Wind & Fire
  • Earth Wind & Fire - The Need of Love
  • Chicago - II [Steven Wilson Remix]

Made a trip to the used CD store today.  Bought 4 used CD's that were buy 3, get one free:

Stevie Wonder - Songs In The Key Of Life (6.50)

Kix - Hot Wire (4.75)

Rod Stewart - Unplugged (4.75)

Europe - Prisoners in Paradise (Free)

Then I raided the reduced section.  The remaining CD's were 50 cents or a dollar (dollar CD's marked with asterisk):

John Mellencamp - Dance Naked

John Mellencamp - No Better Than This

John Mellencamp - Mr. Happy Go Lucky

John Mellencamp - Freedom's Road

Paul Carrack - The Carrack Collection

The Robert Cray Band - Don't Be Afraid of the Dark

Lovemongers - Whirlygig

Boz Scaggs - Other Roads (Scott sings his praises, I felt like I couldn't go wrong for a half buck)

Pain of Salvation - Remedy Lane

Pet Shop Boys - Discography: The Complete Singles Collection

R.E.M. - Accelerate

Bryan Ferry - Roxy Music Street Life

Will Hoge - Blackbird on a Lonely Wire

John Elefante - Defying Gravity

Vangelis - Chariots of Fire

Crowded House - Woodface*

The Alarm - Eye of the Hurricane*

The Fixx - React*

Now, if only I can find the time to listen to these.

I've gotta get me a copy of that Europe CD.

Not a fan at all of Pain of Salvation.

I want to pick up a Robert Cray album. I've got my eye on an LP copy of Strong Persuader though.

Strong Persuader is exceptionally strong.

Guess I wasted .50.

BIg Scaggs fan here, but Other Roads is not a good starting place...  Go with Slow Dancer, Down Two Then Left, Silk Degress, or Middle Man ...  Even his most recent blues covers album - "Memphis" is very good... Other Roads may have some hit tunes on it that you'll know but its very poppy and 80's cliched.
