What CD's or DVD's have you recently purchased?  And it doesn't have to be classic rock.  Let us know about any purchases that you think are worth sharing.

I'm definitely going to do a review of the Little Steven album.

And I am planning to pick up both of the Bad Company reissues that are coming out this Friday.

I picked up the two new Bad Company CD reissues today, Run With The Pack and Burnin' Sky.

I also got the Snakecharmer CD Second Skin.

I want to get the RWTP reissue.  That was one of the first albums I remember loving, along with BTO II.  They both belonged to my sister.  I actually still have her RWTP album.

I have/had Burnin' Sky on cassette but it wore out. So when I saw that the reissue was coming out, I waited to replace it.

I picked up a couple of CDs today:

U2's The Joshua Tree 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition

The Ferrymen - S/T

I picked up the new Cheap Trick CD We're All Alright! yesterday.

Today I picked up Triumph's Allied Forces on vinyl. The first time I've ever owned anything from the band.

I also picked up 6 new cassettes. Three of them are still in the original cellophane wrapping. Those ones are:

John Parr - Running The Endless Mile

Laura Branigan - Touch

John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band - Roadhouse

The other three cassettes I picked up were:

Artch - Another Return To Church Hill

Vicious Rumors - S/T

Vicious Rumors - Welcome To The Ball (which I discovered had been apparently signed by singer Carl Albert)

Got these 5 on vinyl today as well as the following on CD:

Eagles - Hell Freezes Over

Keith Richards - Talk Is Cheap

Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band - Trouble Is...

  • Stephen Christian - Wildfires
  • Billy Joel - Cold Spring Harbor
  • Motley Crue - Shout At The Devil (Bonus Tracks)
  • Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood (20th Anniversary Edition)
  • Big Wreck - Grace Street (Thanks RJ!!)
  • Mick Taylor - Mick Taylor
  • INXS - Listen Like Thieves
  • Cheap Trick - We're Alright! (Deluxe)
  • Lindsey Buckingham - Law and Order
  • Fleetwood Mac - Heroes Are Hard to Find
  • Fleetwood Mac - Bare Trees (Thanks Jon!!)
  • Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie - ST
  • BTO - Boxset
  • Roger Waters - Is This The Life We Really Want?
  • The Beatles - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Deluxe)
  • Bad Company - Run With The Pack (Deluxe Edition)
  • Bad Company - Burnin' Sky (Deluxe Edition)
  • Soundgarden - Superunknown (20th Anniversary Edition)
  • Soundgarden - Down on the Upside
  • Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger (25th Anniversary Edition)

I've been thinking about that BTO Boxset for a while.  Can't pull the trigger.

Let me know what you think of Grace Street after a couple of full on listens.

I want to buy some stuff, I'm jonesing for it.

Im a BTO fan because it was played a lot in my youth so I have a bias. I'd say go for it...
