ROCKOLLECTIONS:VOL1-SONGS INSTRUMENTAL TO POP PT.1

This is an idea that has been simmering for years, and I finally thought I’d go with it.
Instrumentals have been around forever.
And they have contributed greatly to Popular Music and Rock & Roll!
You could say they have been Very Instrumental!
Where to start?
Well, for Our Music, obviously in the 1950’s.
I’ll begin with Songs played on AM & FM, there was hardly a difference back then.
These Songs may now be considered Easy Listening- although I don’t know how Easy it will be for you, lol!
But you don’t get where you are today without a past, a History!
And hang in there, trust me, I will glide us into Rock & Roll!
Give a listen!

Metallica says hi. So does Iron Maiden. Plus others. They all say hi.

Yngve,
Are there Heavy Metal Instrumentals?
To me that’s Edgar Winter, lol!
But I like my comfort zone, how do you think I segue from one song to next?
It’s all stream of consciousness, if Metal comes up I’ll play it.
Hey, I’ve heard that Bird Dance at weddings or somewhere!
It sucks, LOL!
Thanks though,
Mike

WHAAT?

You got to do Heavy Metal Instrumentals.

Expand your horizon, Think outside the box, Get out of your comfort zone, Live a little... Did I forgot any other motivational idioms? Doesn't matter, it all applies here. Do something for the good of the mankind... Here is another one.

You know google? Because if you do, look up the Emeralds version of the Bird Dance. Great instrumental, great sax, too. Well, at least it's not Heavy Metal, so you have no excuse.

Yngve,
Glad you enjoyed it!
But I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for Heavy Metal Instrumentals, LOL!
I am Just Right Metal, not too heavy!
What the hell is the Bird Dance, lol?
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Or sing, LOL!
Well technically no, the 40’s.
But once I started talking it was the 50’s.
Don’t nitpick!
Glad you like Instrumentals...jazz...cool!
But the train left without you, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

This was an episode after my heart. Loved it. Hope to hear a lot more. Can't wait till you get to the Heavy Metal Instrumentals, because all this has to lead somewhere and why not to the best thing the Instrumental genre can offer.

Heard almost all of these songs and have few of them as well, although not necessarily in the Instrumental form. Some of these were quite slow, I was expecting Chopin's Funeral March to show up and then others were too upbeat I thought the Bird Dance will surely follow. Well, the Bird Dance should follow regardless, so I'm holding out for it.

Well, at least this didn't give you the chance to be pervy.

Actually, you didn't start in the 50's.

I have heard most of these. I like instrumentals.

Jazz.

Yeah.

Lost my train of thought.
