Classic Rock Bottom

What CD's or DVD's have you recently purchased?  And it doesn't have to be classic rock.  Let us know about any purchases that you think are worth sharing.

Where is my Thanks?

Thanks Yngve!

For what?

Do not spare us.  Post 2.  I wanna see Jon Yamo Be There one more time!

Is this a round up of purchases or did you just buy this all at once?

Totally a round up... My wife would have a fit if I did this all at once

I like the new L.A. Guns album.

Same here, gonna post some tracks to NMC this coming weekend...

I picked up the reissues of Whitesnake's Slide It In and Slip of the Tongue.

I also got the new Babylon AD album Revelation Highway.

Since today was Small Business Saturday, I stopped by my friend Roger's record store (that I've written about before). I didn't get any CDs but I did pick up a vinyl copy of Billy Squier's Signs of Life album and got the first two Lita Ford albums (Out For Blood and Dancing on the Edge) on cassette to replace worn out copies, until I can find a cheaper CD version for those two.

Oh, and Roger played the vinyl version of the new L.A. Guns album The Missing Peace while I was at the store and I have to say that I was rather surprised to find myself enjoying it. I may just have to go pick that up on CD to give it a fuller listen/review.

Thanks for posting this, RJhog. It make me feel little bit better about my purchases. For years I've been trying to keep the number around 25 CDs. Last year I got about 80 and promised myself I'll buy less this year. So far I'm close to 40 and that might stay that way, thanks to your way of listing the purchases (Box sets count as one entry). Not that I complain, I'm just rapidly running out of space.
