Rather than Webster’s Birthday you are undoubtedly used to seeing the Words “Webster’s Dictionary”.
On this date, October 16th 1758, Noah Webster was born- making it his 260th Birthday!
He published his first Dictionary in 1806, then immediately began work on an expanded and comprehensive American Dictionary that finally came out in 1828.
He died while working on a second volume in 1843.
His name has been sung in a number of Songs, and I’ll play a few!
Then the Theme is Words!
It’s a Celebration of a Man Who Has Truly Impacted Our Lives!
You can look it up, lol!
Give a listen, it’s going to be Fun!

RJ,
Great to have you back!
Hope you listened through the Series.
I KNEW Webster was in songs, LOL!
Thinking about it I would have figured you for the Neil Young song.
I think I called it a Guitar Workout, which is right up your alley!
What deserve?
Golden Pells are always welcome and appreciated!
Glad you licked and hope you click and click again.
Neil sends his best, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike
on,
The heebie jeebies, LOL?
It’s a GREAT song!
Could be the first sign of Insanity!
Thanks for the listen,
Mike
Mike, It's great to hear a show again. I know it's been a while.
Who in the world knew there was at least 4 songs that mention Webster? I surely didn't.
This was all good stuff. My favorite that you played was the Neil Young song. I do not believe that I've heard it before, so even though I don't deserve to hand out a Golden Pell since I have not been tuning in, I'm giving Neil one anyway.
I'm off today and I'm glad I clicked the link!
That song about the definition of love gave me the heebie jeebies. Don't know why.
There are no birthdays today
