So what are you listening to right now? Any genre is cool.
For me:
Scott's Hidden Treasure
Depeche Mode - Wrong (courtesy of Niels)
Kim Mitchell - Akimbo Alogo (courtesy of Jon)
Next week's Album of the Week (hint: think orchestra)
Shinedown - The Sound of Madness

I have that Harlow album on cassette. I should think about writing one of my Cassette Chronicles articles on it at some point.
That Robert Hart album, is he the singer Bad Company hired after Brian Howe? If so, that album and another one that he did are on my buy list.
I don't have that Helix album but I did write about their Wild In The Streets album and I'm going to be reviewing their latest release Old School.
That Helloween album is fantastic.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the Hericane Alice album, I found it to be just bad.
Funny you should ask. When I started listening to this batch of my "Later" pile (which I'm finally getting to do) I was completely bamboozled as to who Robert Hart is and therefore; what is his CD doing in my collection? (BTW, yes... quick research revealed, he is the man you think he is). However, once I opened the booklet everything became clear: 7 out of 10 songs were co-written with Russ Ballard, who also played on and produced the album. It was a nice surprise.
Haven't heard the Helix' new album, but I do have more of their stuff in my "other" piles. This one has been waiting patiently for me to get off my ass and give it a spin. One of the best bands the Great White North can offer.
Loved that Helloween album. Even though I already heard some of these songs from their side project.
Hericane Alice is for sure one of those Hair Metal bands, that can't blame Grunge for stealing their thunder, but they get nostalgic points from me for checking all the necessary boxes on the list of 80's Metal requisitions.
This is what I wrote about the Hericane Alice album.

That Iron Maiden compilation was one I looked for a lot. I'd given up hope of finding it but finally did find a cheap copy.
It's ok, have no idea why they didn't include anything from the first two albums, but they did include a couple from the BB era.
