Classic Rock Bottom

Everybody has their favorite bands, and usually, a person would own a good bit of material from their favorite bands.  But how about those bands that you've always wanted to get to know a little better.  Use this thread to list at least 5 bands whose material you'd like to own more of.  I'll list 5 here:

1. Rush - I haven't seen all of the new documentary, but what I did see has peaked my interest.

2. E.L.O. - Everytime I hear a song by ELO I wonder why I don't own more of their material

3. The Allman Brothers Band -  I do have a greatest hits box set, but I'd really like to pick up some studio albums.

4. Tom Petty - Again, I only have a greatest hits disc and now Mojo.  I've got Damn The Torpedos on my Amazon wish list but I also want Hard Promises.

5. Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - I have a greatest hits disc and Deja Vu, but as much as I love the vocal melodies from this band, I'm not sure why I don't own more.

So what would you think about a Zebra fan page?
Hey Jon, I think a Zebra fan page would be great!! I have all of their music. One of those bands that never quite hit it, but i really like...
Cool...I have all their studio stuff so I'll get a page up in a week or so.
I will be looking for it man!! Wait until the summers gone is a great song. 1st album is a classic!!
Hey, Scott #1, I would recomment the Saga-album "Beginner's guide to throwing shapes" from 1989. I think, it's a great album.
I never really got into what little I've heard from the Peter Gabriel Genesis. I'm a pop Phil Collins Genesis fan.

I don't have everything from Deep Purple but I've got a few things and yes they are a band I'd like to hear more from.
Tell you what...out of the goodness of my heart, I will pos "Lights Out' on the UFO fan page this weekend so you don't have to rush out, buy the album, hate it (which you won't) and blame me.
Ok, I lied. "Lights Out" is up on the UFO fan page now.
Rush is one of those bands that fall into my "Radio Band" category.

I like the stuff I hear on the radio but don't ever feel the need to really buy their releases.

Pink Floyd is another band like that.

1. Skycycle- for those that don't know them, they are a very obscure '90s rock group that originated around 1995 or so, and was centered around front-man Steve Isaacs of MTV, who was their lead singer. They released 1 EP titled "Breathing Water" in 1997, and an un-released CD titled "Ones and Zeros", which you can find on sites like ITunes or Rhapsody; it was just never released as an actual CD, but is available online. I have 3 songs of theirs ("Radioactive", "Figure 8", and "Antebellum"), and the talent from this group is CRIMINALLY under-rated. Please check them out! You may know them as the band that did the soundtrack for Scoobie Doo on Zombie Island, but again, that's also obscure now (came out in 1998).

2. Steppenwolf- I love "Magic Carpet Ride" and "Born to Be Wild", and I'd like to explore them a little more and dig deeper into their catalog!

3. Cheap Trick- I know the basic hits like "Surrender", "I Want You to Want Me", "Dream Police", "Hello There", etc., but I'd like to get into some of their more discrete cuts!

4. The Animals- I bought their Greatest Hits CD from 1990, but I haven't even listened to all of those tracks yet, and even beyond those, I'd like to know more of their work!

5. Foghat- "Slow Ride" and "Fool for the City" will only do for so long before I need to dig a lot deeper!

Foghat has some great stuff.... Your missing out, start digging

I'm currently listening to one of their songs called "Sarah Lee", and I really, really like it!
