I have all those W.A.S.P. albums except Babylon. I love them all.

Is that Jeff Watson, the guitar player from Night Ranger? If so, I don't think I ever knew that he had a solo album.

Yes, that's him.

He put out 2 solo CDs.
1. Lone Ranger 1992 (Shrapnel Records) Instrumental release with notable guests: Brad Gillis, Sammy Hagar, Allan Holdsworth, Bob Daisley, Carmine Appice, Randy Coven, and Steve Morse among others.

2. Around The Sun 1993. A solo album with vocals (his and Steve Walsh's) + guest musicians. It was first released in Japan (the one I have), but later in 1999 it was released in US and Italy via (Frontiers Records) with 4 Bonus tracks not on Japan CD. All 3 versions have different cover art.

Good stuff.

Thanks for the info. I'd be more interested in the Around The Sun release myself. I guess I'll have to add it to my list.

I'm not surprised you're leaning towards the Sun, and might even enjoy it more than I do since its vibe is more of a singer-songwriter type of an album than a typical guitar slingers affair. (Not that it doesn't have some great guitars on it).

Myself, I favor Lone Ranger for it is a helluva rocking album. One of the fine examples what an all Instrumental release should sound like.

That Alcatrazz album is that the new one they just put out or an older album?
