What CD's or DVD's have you recently purchased?  And it doesn't have to be classic rock.  Let us know about any purchases that you think are worth sharing.

I got a remastered edition of .38 Special's self-titled debut album in the mail a couple days back.

Today I stopped by Purchase Street Records again to grab a few more albums (while still leaving behind more that I want to get).

I picked up:

TNT - Knights of the New Thunder (with a bonus track)

Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds - S/T

Billy Idol - Devil's Playground

Riot - Sons of Society

I received my copy of the brand new Munroe's Thunder CD The Black Watch today. I'm going to be doing a review of it for KNAC.COM

I stopped by Purchase Street Records again this week and came away with four more CDs.

Meat Loaf - Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell

Impellitteri - Pedal to the Metal

Helstar - A Distant Thunder

Helstar - The King Of Hell

I went shark fishing today at Purchase Street Records and came away with six Great White CDs.

Once Bitten
...Twice Shy
Psycho City
Let It Rock
Back To The Rhythm
Rising

Today I picked up the new Leather album We Are The Chosen.

I also grabbed up the Scorpions albums Fly to the Rainbow and Virgin Killer, thus completing my collection of their studio albums.

Great White - Sail Away

I have received 6 CDs in the mail today.

One of the albums came from an eBay auction:

Night Ranger - Midnight Madness (new)

The other five discs came from Nuclear Blast Records. I bought them during their Black Friday sale and all of them are new.

Sabaton - Coat of Arms
Blind Guardian - Tales from the Twilight World (remastered)
Blind Guardian - Somewhere Far Beyond (remastered)
Blind Guardian - Imaginations from the Other Side (2 disc reissue)
Blind Guardian - A Twist in the Myth

My friend's store, Purchase Street Records, just bought a MASSIVE music collection and this week put out about 5,000 of the CDs that is only a quarter of the number he got. I stopped by today and this is what I picked up when I dropped by to grab the U.D.O. compilation The Legacy that he had ordered for me.

Meat Loaf - Welcome To The Neighborhood
Ratt - Infestation
Jon Oliva's Pain - Maniacal Renderings
Lizzy Borden - Deal With The Devil
Lizzy Borden - Appointment With Death
Accept - Breaker
Overkill - Ironbound
Saxon - Solid Ball Of Rock
Blind Guardian - Follow The Blind
Motorhead - Kiss Of Death
Motorhead - The World Is Yours
Y&T - Yesterday And Today / Struck Down (2 on 1 CD)
Y&T - Contagious
Y&T - Musically Incorrect
Y&T - Endangered Species
Y&T - Facemelter

I had another big haul day at Purchase Street Records!

Earlier in the week, the shop owner (who is a friend of mine) dropped by an EP to my house. It's his band All Sinners and man it is so good! Seriously, he's been getting feedback from known artists saying how good it is. But I agree.

Then he messaged me to let me know he found a vinyl copy of the Leather album Shock Waves. So that was one of the things I picked up today. And this morning he told me that my copy of the new Leatherwolf album Kill The Hunted had arrived. So that got added to the pile.

And then I went through the CD racks and drawers and shelves again. I came away with the list below.

Y&T - Acoustic Classix Vol. 1
Y&T - Unearthed Vol. 1 - Demos & unreleased recordings from 1974 through 2003.
Y&T - Unearthed Vol. 2 - Demos & unreleased recordings from 1974 through 1989.
Danger Danger - Rare Cuts
Hammerfall - Renegade
Alice Cooper - Brutal Planet
Jack Russell - Shelter Me
Jack Russell - For You
Def Leppard - Songs from The Sparkle Lounge

And the last new addition to my collection was the Badlands album Voodoo Highway. Finding the album on CD was a big deal for me as I've wanted both of their first two releases on CD for a long time. But given the whole story behind why they are so hard to find, I'd never seen them before other than online where the prices were too high for my tastes. But I've got it now. Next I need to find a CD of the first album.

I just received my Leatherwolf this week as well, together with the new Stryper CD and the Lucifer's Friend "Sumo Grip" reissue. But, I only had time to listen to Lucifer's Friend so far.

I'm working on a review of another album at the moment but then I have to really buckle down and get reviews done for the Leatherwolf album and the Munroe's Thunder disc as well. Plus trying to squeeze in a couple more reviews after that.

I stopped by Purchase Street Records earlier today. It's my last big purchase possibility for a while since the new year means all the big yearly bills will be coming in.

So I picked up the following albums:

Poison - Look What The Cat Dragged In
Poison - Native Tongue
Poison - Crack A Smile...and More!
Poison - Hollyweird
Dokken - Under Lock And Key
Dokken - Back For The Attack
Dokken - Beast From The East
Dokken - Dysfunctional
Testament - The Legacy
Testament - The New Order
Testament - The Ritual
Testament - Souls Of Black
Testament - Low

I also got a few more copies of the four song EP from the band All Sinners. The shop owner, a friend of mine, is the drummer for the band and I have to say that this is a damn good collection of songs. I've been talking it up online and more than a few people have checked it outline and said great things when they shared their takes on it via Facebook. If anyone's interested, you can find the EP on Spotify and other streaming services.

Benedictum - Dominion

Disturbed - Divisive (I thought I had this one but turns out I hadn't bought it yet)
