This week's video is Avantasia feat. Klaus Meine (Scorpions) with the song "Dying for an Angel".

Avantasia is an all-star side project headed by Tobias Sammet, lead singer of the prog-tinged German power metal band Edguy.

The song is taking fom the album "The Wicked Symphony", released in april 2010.

I had this album in my hand at Best But and put it back, thinking I would come back and get it when I picked up what I was really looking for. And, of course, they didn't have what I was looking for so I left the store in disgust. So, still gotta pick up both the Avantasia albums that came out this year.

That song is kick-ass! I have a previous Avantasia album that I really haven't gotten around to listening to. The guest vocal by Klaus is outstanding. The video itself is okay. I like performance videos, so that part of it was really cool. Sandra even likes it, so go figure. Nice pick Niels.

I haven't watched last week's VOTW yet, but I should be able to get to it sometime this weekend. I'm running just a bit behind on LAOTW and SHT as well, but will eventually get caught up.
